Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website you visit stores in your browser. On later visits they're sent back to the server, which lets the site remember things like your language setting or login state. Alongside cookies, we also use similar technologies (e.g., localStorage to save your light/dark theme preference).
2. Legal basis
We use necessary cookies without consent, since the website wouldn't function without them. We use all other cookies (statistical, marketing, preference) only after your explicit consent given in the consent banner. We collect consent through the Cookiebot CMP.
3. Types of cookies we use
Necessary: bot defense (Cloudflare), CookieConsent (Cookiebot), cal.com session, vercel-flight-prefetch, victa-theme in localStorage. Statistical (with consent): _ga, _gid from Google Analytics 4. Marketing (with consent): we don't currently use retargeting cookies.
4. Current status (Phase 1)
In Phase 1, the website doesn't yet have Cookiebot or Google Analytics active—so we're not setting any statistical or marketing cookies. We'll activate them with our first wave of clients (Phase 2/3) and update this document accordingly.
5. How to change or withdraw consent
Once Cookiebot is active, a "Change cookie settings" link in the footer will reopen the banner. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The website respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
6. Third-party cookies and transfers outside the EU
Some cookies will be set by third parties (Google, Cloudflare, Cookiebot, Cal.com). For transfers outside the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and for Google, also the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Server infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase) runs in the Frankfurt region.
